Rooted in Faith, Growing Communities, and Shaping a Healthier Future for Missouri
Holly Snyder is a mom, wife, Christian, and local advocate for better elections, better education, leading to better communities. She is passionate about ensuring the health of everyone around her, from her own family to all of Missouri. She is deeply invested in how private and public health systems can work for or against the health of the community they’re in.
One of her proudest contributions is when she and her husband, both pastors, founded a United Methodist Church in a small Missouri town, growing it from 0 congregants to over 250.
Holly also acts as a Master Gardener and election judge. Master Gardeners carefully shape landscapes and educate the community on how to grow and expand the green and beautiful spaces wherever they live. As an election judge, Holly will play a vital role in ensuring free and fair elections.
She, her husband, and their two boys, ages 16 and 13, live in St. Charles, together enjoying life’s adventures.
During a peaceful protest in Gardner, Kansas, Holly Snyder worked with local police to organize a demonstration against police brutality. When a city councilman showed up armed, many protesters felt unsafe. Holly spoke out, saying his actions distracted from the message of the protest, which aimed to promote unity and raise awareness of racial injustice.
As a proud Baylor alum, Holly Snyder filed a Title IX complaint against her alma mater after allegations surfaced that the university covered up sexual assault reports involving football players. Although key figures like President Ken Starr and Coach Art Briles were removed, Holly believed more needed to be done, calling for a criminal investigation. Her goal was to ensure accountability and push for lasting policy changes to protect students and make sure victims’ voices are always heard.
Whether you're interested in improving local elections, enhancing education, or growing stronger, healthier communities, Holly would love to hear from you. As a passionate advocate, pastor, and Master Gardener, Holly is dedicated to making a positive impact across Missouri.
